Field Operations Manager

Overview of the Role

We’re hiring a Field Operations Manager to oversee our installation teams and run day-to-day field operations. You’ll ensure safe, on-time, and high-quality delivery across residential, commercial, and agri projects—driving productivity, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

  • Quality & Site Audits: Perform regular site visits; verify builds against drawings/specs and manufacturer instructions; close snags with photo/documented evidence.

  • Safety & Compliance (QEHS): Champion safe systems of work and RAMS; enforce PPE, Working at Heights, and site controls; coordinate LOTO with the REC electrical team; record and investigate incidents/near misses.

  • Progress, Budget & Timeline Control: Track milestones, labour hours, and material usage; forecast risks; course-correct early to keep works within scope and budget.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as main point of contact for field staff and clients (and any specialist partners if engaged); give clear updates to PMs and leadership; escalate issues with options, not just problems.
