Job Overview


As a Solar PV Electrician at Mitros, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of solar PV systems across Ireland.

​

Key Responsibilities

​

  • Installing solar PV systems on residential, commercial, and agricultural buildings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.

  • Wiring and installing a variety of PV inverters, hybrid inverters, diverters, and EV chargers to optimize system performance.

  • Conducting comprehensive tests on electrical components to guarantee the safety and effectiveness of installations.

  • Inspecting electrical systems and equipment for any signs of damage, malfunctions, or safety hazards, and addressing issues promptly.

  • Engaging with homeowners and clients to provide guidance on installation processes and address any concerns or questions they may have.

  • Completing all assigned tasks within designated timeframes, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality.

  • Compiling, recording, and submitting all necessary documentation and photographs required for each installation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications

​

  • Proven experience as an electrician, with a specific focus on solar PV installations preferred.

  • Valid Electrical Trade Certification or equivalent qualification.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring methods, with a keen understanding of safety standards and regulations.

  • Familiarity with PV inverters, hybrid inverters, diverters, and EV chargers, and the ability to wire and install them effectively.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites across Munster as required.

  • Commitment to upholding company values of professionalism, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Compensation & Benefits

​

  • Salary: €55,000.00-€65,000.00 per year

  • Company Car: Provided for business use.
