Lead site walk-downs and joint inspections with client representatives or financiers, professionally communicating how the project is progressing and addressing any questions or concerns they have. Liaise with external parties who visit the site – for example, ESB Networks engineers for grid connection, planning authorities for compliance inspections, or environmental consultants monitoring site impact – to ensure their requirements are met and site protocols are respected. Coordinate with local communities and landowners as needed to minimise disruptions, manage site access, and maintain positive relations. Represent Mitros in a courteous and authoritative manner on site, building trust with all stakeholders through honest communication and reliable execution of commitments.
-
Project Close-Out & Handover: Plan and manage the smooth close-out of each project once construction nears completion. Oversee commissioning and energisation activities in collaboration with electrical engineers and the client’s team, ensuring the solar farm’s performance is tested and verified against contractual requirements. Identify and drive the completion of any outstanding works or snag list items, ensuring all minor deficiencies are corrected before project handover. Organise the compilation of handover documentation, including as-built drawings, test results, quality assurance records, and operation & maintenance manuals. Lead the final site walk-through with the client and secure formal sign-off on project completion. Ensure a seamless handover of the asset to the client or operations team on schedule, with all performance criteria met and all site demobilisation and reinstatement activities completed to the agreed standards.
